We are partnering with UCLA to give blood and save lives. Over the last 18 months, we have collected 339 units of whole blood at all our campuses. Would you consider taking 30 minutes out of your day to donate blood and save a life?
Why Should You Get Involved?
- Last year, UCLA Hospitals transfused 78,000 blood components
- In LA, only 3% of the population donate
- In UCLA, only 1.5% donate
- Ronald Reagan Hospital is the closest trauma center for the UCLA campus students and employees
Remember to eat well and increase your fluid intake a couple of days before and the day you donate. If you have any questions or need help registering call 310-825-0888; ext.2.
