Sometimes it only takes a few words to make a lasting impact on someone’s life. Mike Breaux shares three of them in this particular message that Jesus exhorts to his disciples in the Gospel of John: “Remain in me.”
When Jesus gives them these three life-changing words, he does so with the imagery of a vine and branches. While the ancient people of Israel were referred to often in the Old Testament as “the vine,” Jesus changes the image to refer to himself. So, if we want to experience the same power that Jesus experienced allowing you to produce a full and fruitful life, then we have to make a commitment to walk with Jesus and live like him.
