When reading the Bible, there can be a lot of unfamiliar language that is used that can become quite confusing. One phrase that many often encounter is what the Bible calls “sins of the father, ” which is often misunderstood as inherited sin or generational curses. But does this really coincide with the character of God? Does this really fit in with the teachings of Jesus? Actually, it does—but probably not in the way that you’re thinking.
