Unity / Division
Rusty George | January 17, 2021
There were a lot of things that 2020 brought out of us that caused some intense division between us as a country and especially as a church. These sorts of divisions challenge or expose what we truly believe about Jesus and what God is up to in the world. This isn’t anything new, in fact, it has been going on since the church began. So, what do we do about it?
One of the coolest stories we get from the early church is in Acts 10 regarding Peter, a Jew, and a Roman officer named Cornelius, a gentile. The two groups historically did not get along, but God moves in such a way that alters Peter’s perspective and faith, and compels us to do the same today.
