RLC Simi Valley Family,

God has been so faithful to us these past several months, from the quick interest in our building to receiving multiple offers, all during a pandemic. As we look forward we are excited because we know He will remain faithful to us as we continue on our journey together.

We are happy to share some details with you as we take our next step. Our last Sunday at 580 will be this Sunday, January 17The following SundayJanuary 24, we will be at our new temporary location, located at 2350-A Shasta Way.

You may notice, we haven’t moved far! We will be just a couple of blocks away in the Industrial Center off Easy Street. Additional details and directions will be coming, so be sure to keep connected with us on our website, app and social media.

Initially, we will join together outside while we continue to prepare the space to welcome you inside. In addition, with the rising number of COVID cases, this will allow us to do our part to keep our community safe.

We can’t wait to see what God has in store in this next chapter, as we celebrate and reflect on all that He has done for us to date. It has been an amazing season at 580 Easy Street. Thanks to your continued generosity, we have been able to partner with Him to Help People Find and Follow Jesus in Simi Valley. Your impact is immeasurable, from blessing thousands at our recent drive through experiences to our ongoing partnerships with the Samaritan Center and Sarah’s House. We have numerous small groups that continue to meet and dive deeper each week and are reaching many people online who have not yet stepped through our doors. The best part is we know we have so much more to do in our community and truly believe our best days are ahead. While we mourn and recognize some sadness in leaving, we, like many, are called by God to go into the next season being strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9). We are trusting in God’s leading to make a huge impact in our city.

Due to our building’s sale, I am also excited to announce that we are blessed to begin this next chapter debt-free! Which will allow us to focus more of our resources on the community without the burden of debt.

Here are a couple of things that I ask of you:

  1. Pray – That God would continue to lead, guide, and open doors
  2. Give – As we faithfully give, God opens doors to what is possible
  3. Join us – We would love to see you in person or online
  4. Invite others – The grace of God is something to be shared!

We look forward to seeing your smiling faces in our new temporary location at 2350-A Shasta Way on January 24 and your continued prayers as we dream and trust in Him to lead us where we can be a light in our community in our future together.

Praying Big Prayers,
