My landlord says he'll evict me unless I pay rent much higher than for identical homes here in much better condition. I'm mid-70s with disabling mental and physical illnesses, incapable of moving home and unable to afford his demand.
He's comparing it with an illegally overcrowded two bedroom apartment with 10 desperate immigrants and a ridiculous rent. Most of the rents are much less than he demands.
Please pray for God's help in this. Protection and guidance, a softening of landlord's heart and the right lawyer to handle this. For a good relationship with my landlord and a good outcome with no other issues between us.
