Many of us are familiar with the “what” of Easter: Jesus was beaten, killed, and rose again after spending a couple of days in a dark tomb with a giant rock in front of it. This is certainly something worth celebrating; however, many of us don’t know the “why” behind this Easter celebration. Why does this matter so much for us today?
Conquering death is a big deal, especially when the only person in history to ever do it says we have the same power to do so within us. But “how” this happens is also important because it influences the way we live and approach our everyday life and interaction with the world around us. That “how” is driven home in this message as we will all be encouraged to tap into that same power that raised Jesus from the dead to take our faith, and our life, to the next level.
