The Guest Services Team helps make Real Life feel welcoming from the moment someone arrives to the moment they leave. Whether you’re greeting people in the parking lot, welcoming first-time guests, serving coffee and snacks, helping someone find a seat, or answering questions, you can help create an experience where people feel seen, comfortable, and cared for.

With both indoor and outdoor opportunities and roles for different personalities, we’ll help you find a place to serve that fits you.

Here’s what to expect:

• Opportunities include parking, greeting, Guest Central, hospitality, ushering, and supporting our outdoor amphitheater.
• Volunteer for approximately 90 minutes, ideally at least twice a month.
• Some roles require walking and using stairs, while others can be served from one location.
• Training and support are provided so you feel confident and prepared to serve.

Our Production Team helps create the environment people experience every weekend, both in the room and online. From cameras and lighting to the lyrics and visuals you see throughout the service, this team uses creativity and technology to help people engage with worship, teaching, and every moment in between.

Whether you’re creative, detail-oriented, tech-minded, or simply interested in learning something new, there’s a role you can grow into. Many positions don’t require any previous experience, and our team will train you and help you find the right fit.

Here’s what to expect:

• Volunteer 1–3 times a month on Thursday nights or Sundays.
• Most Sunday roles arrive at 8am; Thursday arrival times vary by position.
• Hands-on training is provided for every role.

The Kids Team helps make church a place kids are excited to come back to—where they’re known, have fun, build friendships, and discover what it means to follow Jesus. Whether you’re welcoming families at check-in, spending time with kids in their classrooms, bringing a Bible story to life, leading worship and games, or helping behind the scenes, every role helps create an experience where kids can grow their faith.

With different ways to serve, we’ll help you find a role that fits your strengths and provide the training, resources, and support you need along the way.

Here’s what to expect:

• Volunteer at check-in, directly with kids, or behind the scenes.
• Most roles are flexible and don’t require serving every week.
• Classroom roles arrive 30 minutes before service and volunteer for approximately 2 hours.
• Scripts, materials, and training are provided for your role.
• Volunteers 18+ complete a background check, with Mandated Reporter training required for applicable roles.

The Student Team helps junior high and high school students find and follow Jesus as they grow in their faith. By showing up consistently, having real conversations, and creating a place where students feel known and supported, you can make an impact during some of the most formative years of their lives.

Whether you love connecting with students, welcoming new faces, helping create a great gathering, or serving behind the scenes, there are different ways to get involved. We’ll help you find the right place to serve and provide the training, support, and guidance you need along the way.

Here’s what to expect:

• Volunteer with High School on Thursday evenings or Junior High during any of our three Sunday services.
• Opportunities range from building relationships with students to helping create and support weekly gatherings.
• Commitment varies by role, with options that fit different levels of availability.

This new ministry will provide intentional care and support for individuals with special needs while helping families feel confident that there’s a place for them here.

As we prepare to launch, we’re looking for people who have a heart for creating spaces where everyone can belong and thrive. Whether you have experience supporting individuals with special needs or simply want to help, join our interest list to stay connected and hear more about opportunities, training, and next steps as the ministry takes shape.

Group Leaders create spaces where people can build meaningful relationships, grow in their faith, and experience real community at Real Life. You’ll help guide conversations, encourage participation, care for the people in your group, and create an environment where people can take their next steps together.

Leading a group is an opportunity to invest in others while continuing to grow yourself. We’ll equip you with training, resources, and ongoing support as you lead.

Here’s what to expect:

• Groups typically meet weekly for approximately 90 minutes, with additional time to prepare.
• Leaders commit to leading for at least four months.
• Leaders should have experience participating in a group and have been following Jesus for at least one year.
• Prospective leaders complete an application, conversation with our team, and training before leading.
• You’ll receive ongoing resources and support throughout your time as a leader.

The Outreach Team serves our local community by meeting practical needs and showing up where help is needed most. From one-time projects and community events to building relationships with local partners, there are opportunities to make a meaningful difference right here in our valley.

You can jump in and serve at outreach events as your schedule allows, or take a more active role in helping shape what we do. Our Outreach Planning Team meets monthly to help plan upcoming projects, connect with community partners, and find meaningful ways for Real Life to serve our community.

Here’s what to expect:

• Volunteer at outreach events and projects throughout the year as your availability allows.
• Join the Outreach Planning Team to help plan and lead outreach efforts, with meetings once a month.

The Care & Connections Team comes alongside people through some of life’s hardest seasons and helps them find hope, healing, and community. Through support groups focused on areas like grief, divorce, and recovery, you can help create a safe place where people are cared for and reminded they don’t have to walk through difficult seasons alone.

There are opportunities to lead after you’ve experienced one of these groups yourself, as well as ways to support the ministry through welcoming, hospitality, and production.

Here’s what to expect:

• Group leaders must first complete the group or program they’re interested in leading.
• Support roles such as greeting, hospitality, and production don’t require previous group participation.
• Most groups meet weekly, with the length of commitment varying by program.
• Training, resources, and ongoing support are provided for leaders and volunteers.

The Facilities Team helps create clean, welcoming, and ready-to-use spaces for everything that happens at Real Life. From setting up for weekend services and events to caring for our campus throughout the week, this team takes care of the practical details that help our spaces look their best and function well.

There are opportunities to help with setup and teardown, weekly maintenance, and special events. This is a hands-on way to serve that makes an impact across nearly every area of our church.

Here’s what to expect:

• Commit to serving at least once a month.
• This role involves regular lifting, carrying, and moving furniture or equipment.
• Tasks and serving times vary depending on the area and current needs.
• This is a physically active role, so team members should be able to safely lift and move furniture and equipment.

The Safety Response Team helps keep our congregation safe during services and events. Team members help with people entering and exiting our spaces, look out for anyone who may need assistance, and are available to help in the event of an emergency or natural disaster.

Here’s what to expect:

• Volunteer during weekend services and special events.
• Previous safety experience is encouraged.

The Medical Response Team helps make sure trained care is available when a medical need arises during a service or event. Team members are ready to assess the situation, provide appropriate assistance, and help coordinate additional medical care when needed.

This is an opportunity for qualified medical professionals to use their training and experience to care for people at Real Life.

Here’s what to expect:

• Commit to serving at least once a month.
• Experience in the medical field is required, along with current lifesaving certifications, EMT certification, or a nursing license.
